There's something incredibly special about capturing the intimate moments of a couple's elopement, and Julene and Stefan’s day was no exception. Their love story unfolded in the early hours of a chilly spring morning at the Woodbridge NJ Courthouse, a perfect setting adorned with the delicate beauty of cherry blossoms in full bloom.
A Personal and Romantic Ceremony
From the moment I arrived, the quiet stillness of the courthouse set the tone for a deeply personal and romantic ceremony. We were given the courthouse to ourselves, allowing Julene and Stefan to share their vows in an intimate setting without any distractions. The privacy of the space made every moment feel exceptionally special, as if time stood still for the couple to savor every word and glance.
Julene looked stunning in a classic satin mermaid bridal gown that flowed beautifully as she walked. Her elegance was matched by Stefan, who looked dashing in a gold and black tuxedo. Together, they embodied a timeless charm, their outfits complementing the historic ambiance of the courthouse.

After the heartfelt ceremony, we headed to Watt Lounge in Rahway, NJ for a celebratory drink. The contrast between the historic courthouse and the modern black history art and cozy vibe of Watt Lounge added a dynamic twist to the day. It was here that Julene and Stefan tried the lounge’s signature drink with a whisky smoker, a unique and memorable experience that they thoroughly enjoyed. The smoky aroma of the whisky perfectly matched the warm, inviting atmosphere of the lounge, adding an extra layer of enjoyment to their celebration.
Cherry Blossoms and Chilly Breezes
Despite the chilly weather, the cherry blossoms were a stunning backdrop for our photos.
