ABOUT ANDREA BROOKE
Hi, I’m Andrea Brooke D’Alessandro – owner of ABD Photography, a photographer, mom, nature lover, and Jersey Shore local based in Bayville, NJ. I’ve been photographing professionally since 2014, capturing weddings, families, and meaningful portraits throughout New Jersey and beyond.
I studied Photography at The University of the Arts in Philadelphia, where I developed a deep appreciation for both digital and film formats. I work with a mix of professional digital cameras and vintage 35mm film gear, offering clients a variety of images that are both timeless and true to life. My style blends naturally posed portraits with candid, documentary-style moments—those unscripted expressions and interactions that tell the full story of a day.
Before I started photographing weddings full time, I worked with schools and families on children’s portraits. That experience taught me how to connect quickly, work efficiently, and put people at ease—skills that I carry into every shoot, whether I’m photographing a quiet elopement or a full wedding celebration with extended family.
My approach is hands-on and supportive. I bring more than just my cameras—I come fully prepared for whatever the day may bring. I keep essentials on hand like bobby pins, a sewing kit, snacks, stain remover, and more. Whether it’s fixing a necklace, wiping a tear, entertaining your toddler, or calming nerves before a ceremony, I’m there to help things run smoothly and feel grounded.
When I’m not behind the camera, I’m usually spending time with my family, hiking a trail, or collecting sea glass and stones along the beach. I find a lot of creative energy in the natural world, and I bring that same presence and attentiveness to every session. Whether we’re photographing in your home, a quiet park, or somewhere off the beaten path, I want the experience to feel relaxed and genuine.
I offer both in-home and on-location sessions throughout New Jersey, and I’m always up for traveling to new places. All animals are welcome in my sessions—if they’re part of your story, I want to include them.
