There’s something magical about a backyard wedding at a childhood beach house—especially on the 4th of July. Jorn and Kelli’s celebration had it all: sunshine, summer vibes, the laughter of loved ones, and a truly intimate setting that made everyone feel at home.

Jorn and Kelli requested candid-only photography, and every moment was full of life. Guests from overseas (including Jorn’s family!) brought energy, excitement, and spontaneous joy that made this day unforgettable. No stiff poses, no forced smiles—just real moments captured in the golden summer light.

The Perfect Backyard Setting

The bride’s childhood beach house provided a cozy, personal backdrop. String lights twinkled as the sun set, the lawn became a dance floor, and the ocean breeze kept everyone refreshed. Kids ran barefoot, adults clinked glasses, and the whole day was full of spontaneous, joyful moments—the kind you can’t stage, only capture.

As evening approached, the golden hour cast a soft glow across the lawn, the historic house, and the ocean beyond. Every candid smile, every hug, and every glance was illuminated with that perfect summer light, making the memories even more special.
